The Maraboon Pet Resort is excited to announce the release of our new Pet Transport Van. Now, we can pick up and drop off your pets, straight from your front door. 



This service is subject to Van availability and only available at certain times of the day. At this stage we are offering transport on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays with pickups between 7.30am and 9.00am and 4.00pm and 5.30pm. Service available to EMERALD LOCALS ONLY. 



  • 1st time Pickup - $22.50 which includes $15.00 transport fee + $7.50 Meet & Greet Fee **
  • Ongoing Pickups - $15.00 per family, per pickup or drop off 

** Please note that for the first time pickup there is an additional charge of $7.50. This is a 'Meet & Greet' fee so you can introduce us to your pets and home, for organising seamless future pickups. We'll be asking you questions related to how we can get into your house/yard when you aren't home and where to collect the belongings etc. Don't worry, it will only take about 10 minutes of your time, but you will need to be home for this first pick up service. **

Future pickups and drop offs will not require you to be home and no additional charges will apply. But we will need to have easy access to your pets and/or be able to leave them in safe place. 


Things to Have Ready Before Collection

  • Cats must be in a carrier upon our arrival and will not be collected if not confined. 
  • Dogs and Cats - All belongings need to be clearly labelled and easily accessible for collection (please don't expect us to go wandering around your yard to pickup everything) . Any instructions regarding food or medication needs to be written out clearly on the items (or preferably emailed to us ahead of time). 
  • Please ensure that the resort already has updated copies of your pet's vaccinations before we pick them up. If your animal is not up to date with it's vaccinations (or we don't have proof of vaccine status) we will be unable to pickup or drop off your pet. 
  • If your pets are boarding with us - Please ensure that you have signed your boarding contract and paid your accommodation fees PRIOR to us picking up your pet(s). 


Difficulties with Collection

As much as we want to be able to service everyone, there may be instances where we will be unable to collect your pet(s) from your home, as the safety of our staff comes first. Unfortunately only friendly dogs will be able to be collected. Despite most dogs not being aggressive in public, there are instances where they can become defensive and protective of their home environment. If we are unable to safely collect your pet(s), then we will not be able to transport them to the resort. In these rare circumstances, we will let you know and you will need to arrange alternative transport of your pet(s) to the resort.
