Shared Accommodation Practice

According to the latest research on canine accommodation practices, it is safer and more comfortable dog's in boarding to stay with a buddy. Therefore our fees reflect this practise and are based on twin share accommodation (even if they aren't from the same family - but don't worry - we've tried and tested it, and the dogs love it!). If your animal is unable to share a room (for a variety of reasons such as breed, temperament, behaviour and undesexed status), the solo rates will apply. We do allow undesexed dogs into our facility, but due to our policies and the safety of our animals, entry must be approved at the manager's discretion. Please be aware that in these instances additional charges, terms and conditions will apply. 

Dog Boarding Fees - Effective 14th July, 2023

**Standard Rate is depicted as all school holidays, public holidays, Christmas, New Years and Easter holidays – Please note that we have a minimum booking period of 3 calendar days over public holiday weekends, 5 calendar days over Easter and 7 calendar days over Christmas/new year. Additional terms and conditions apply to these bookings. Christmas bookings require a 50% non-refundable deposit within 7 days of making the booking.

Family Discounts 

Additional Family Pet - Different Species

Any additional pets that are from the same family and are staying at the same time, will be eligible to select the cheaper 'additional pet' price. The discounted price will only apply to the accommodation cost of the lesser value. For example if you have a dog in boarding and would like your cat to stay at the same time, you will be able to select the 'additional family cat' price. 

Please note that only one discount will apply to each family, per stay (including all other discount categories).

Optional Extras

Medication - $2.50 per administration

If your dog requires medication, a $2.50 per administration charge will apply.

Food

The Maraboon Pet Resort will cater all your dog’s meals whilst staying at the resort, at no additional cost to you. All meals are prepared in accordance with all WHS standards and we only use only veterinary approved products. If your pet is on a prescription diet, you will need to bring this with you. Under special circumstances you may be able to bring your own food for your pet, but no discount will apply.

Pet Portal Access - $7 per day

There’s no need to feel guilty about leaving your loved one any more. We have a pet portal website to help keep you in touch with your furry friend. This package includes unlimited access to the pet portal website which gives you an updated health status and photo every day of your pet. You can choose the frequency of your updates, whether it be everyday, every second day or just once while they stay with us!

• Note: Depending upon your pet's arrival and departure time, your pet's portal update may not be executed. We recommend not booking pet portal updates for the day of arrival or departure. 
• Pet portal updates are included with Dog Luxury Kennel and Dog Luxury Suite stays already. 

Grooming Services

Basic Bath (Complimentary with 5 day stay or more)

To get your pet ready for home, we offer a quick hydrobath to get your dog ready for the trip home.

Nail Trim - $20

Getting a little scratched, and not in a good way? Let us trim your pet's nails! All 4 paws included!

Grooming 

We have a number of grooming options available for dogs at our resort salon. You can tack on a grooming service for your dog whilst they stay with us! Click here to visit our grooming page for more information.

Exercise Sessions

Doggy Day-Care Access (With boarding)- $31 per day

• Whole day access to the doggy day-care centre where dogs have a fun-filled day of activities in a social environment
• Activities include water-park fun, treasure hunts, jungle-gym time, agility training and air-conditioned zen time. 
• The doggy day-care centre is open Tuesday to Friday, 7.30am till 5.15pm and boarding guests will have access to the centre for the whole day. 
• Can be applied at whatever frequency you desire (every day, every second day, every third day, two per week etc) 
• Only available to shared boarding guests (no solo boarding guests will be allowed access) who have passed their behavioural assessment.  

Platinum Paw - $15 per session

• 40 minute interactive playtime either with other doggy guests or our playful staff.
• Can be applied at whatever frequency you desire (every day, every second day, every third day, two per week etc) 
• Limited to one per day per guest
• For dog's staying in the Luxury Kennel or Luxury Suite, these extra playtimes are already included, so no need to book! 

Gold Paw - $12.00 per session

• 20 minute interactive playtime either with other doggy guests or our playful staff.
• Can be applied at whatever frequency you desire (every day, every second day, every third day, two per week etc) 
• Limited to one per day per guest
• For dog's staying in the Luxury Kennel or Luxury Suite, these extra playtimes are already included, so no need to book! 

Silver Paw (Included with all Boarding Bookings)

• 2 daily extended doggy doo-doo breaks in the exercise yards.
