Shared Accommodation Practice

Please note that our canine accommodation policies are in accordance with the latest research. This implies that it is safer and more comfortable for your dog to stay with a buddy. Therefore our fees reflect this practise and are based on twin share accommodation. If your animal is unable to share a room (for a variety of reasons such as breed, temperament, behaviour and undesexed status), a solo surcharge will apply. We do allow undesexed dogs into our facility, but due to our policies and the safety of our animals, entry must be approved at the manager's discretion. Please be aware that in these instances additional charges, terms and conditions will apply. 

Dog Boarding Fees

Solo Surcharge - $15 per day 

The solo surcharge applies to all canine guests who are unable to participate in shared boarding. This includes all dogs that are undesexed, aggressive or giant breed (over 40kgs). The solo surcharge will also apply to pitbulls, staffordshires, shar peis and bull terrier breeds. Please note that the solo surcharge does not apply to luxury packages. 

**Peak Season is depicted as all school holidays, public holidays, Christmas, New Years and Easter holidays – Please note that we have a minimum booking period of 3 calendar days over public holiday weekends, 5 calendar days over Easter and 7 calendar days over Christmas/new year

Family Discounts - 

Additional Family Pet - Different Species

Any additional pets from the same family which are staying at the same time will receive a 10%  discount on the accommodation fees for the second animal. 

Additional Family Pet - Same Species, Different Room

Any additional pets from the same family which are staying at the same time, but require a different room, will receive a 10% discount on the accommodation fees for the second animal. 

Additional Family Pet - Shared Accommodation

Dogs from the same family which are staying at the same time, who are able to share a room will receive a 20% discount on the accommodation fees for the second animal.

Please note that only one discount will apply to each family, per stay (including all other discount categories). 

Long Term Stays

21 Days - 3 Months: 10% Off (Accommodation Cost Only)

3 Months - Onwards: 20% Off (Accommodation Cost Only)

Optional Extras

Medication - $2.00 per administration

If your dog requires medication, a $2.00 per administration charge will apply.

Nail Trim - $15

Getting a little scratched, and not in a good way? Let us trim your pet's nails! All 4 paws included!

Food

The Maraboon Pet Resort will cater all your dog’s meals whilst staying at the resort, at no additional cost to you. All meals are prepared in accordance with all WHS standards and we only use only veterinary approved products. 

If your pet is on a prescription diet, you will need to bring this with you. Under special circumstances you may be able to bring your own food for your pet, but no discount will apply.

Fido's Rinse and Quick Dry - With every stay

To get your pet ready for home, we offer a quick hydrobath to get your dog ready for the trip home.

Premium Plush Spa and Blowdry  - $30

For the ultimate clean, your dog can receive a complete pamper before leaving the kennels, just in time to go home. This includes a long lasting Plush spa treatment and thorough blowdry, brush and nail trim. 

Pet Portal Access - $5 per day

There’s no need to feel guilty about leaving your loved one any more. We have a pet portal website to help keep you in touch with your furry friend. This package includes unlimited access to the pet portal website which gives you an updated health status and photo every day of your pet.

Doggy Day-Care Access - $14 per day (coming Feb 2017)

• Whole day access to the doggy day-care centre where dogs have a fun-filled day of activites in a social envirorment
• Activities include water-park fun, treasure hunts, jungle-gym time, agility training and air-conditioned zen time. 
• The doggy day-care centre is open Monday to Friday, 8.00am till 4.00pm and boarding guests will have access to the centre for the whole day. 
• Can be applied at whatever frequency you desire (every day, every second day, every third day, two per week etc) 
• Only available to shared boarding guests (no solo boarding guests will be allowed access). 

Platinum Paw - $12 per session

• 40 minute interactive playtime either with other doggy guests or our playful staff.
• Can be applied at whatever frequency you desire (every day, every second day, every third day, two per week etc) 
• Limited to one per day per guest
• No available on Sundays

Gold Paw - $7.50 per session

• 20 minute interactive playtime either with other doggy guests or our playful staff.
• Can be applied at whatever frequency you desire (every day, every second day, every third day, two per week etc) 
• Limited to one per day per guest
• Not available on Sundays

Silver Paw (Included with all Boarding Bookings)

• 2 daily extended doggy doo-doo breaks in the exercise yards.
